🔍 The European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) is thrilled to introduce the Young Researchers’ Network initiative under the European Democracy Hub. Supported by EPD’s Women and Youth in Democracy (WYDE) program, funded by the European Union, this initiative aims to amplify young voices in shaping sustainable and representative democracies.

Youth-centric Research: Elevate the issues that matter most to you and your peers.
Cross-Disciplinary Exchange: Collaborate with international scholars and practitioners.
Impactful Policy Recommendations: Contribute to a flagship report on global youth political participation.
📚 Program Highlights 📚

Three-year engagement in the Youth Democracy Cohort.
Mentorship and guidance from experts.
Online training sessions on research methodologies.
Webinars on relevant topics for young researchers.
💰 Compensation 💰
Successful candidates will receive EUR 10,000 over three years to support research efforts, along with ad-hoc research assistance.
Network members will be invited to Brussels for research presentations.

🎓 Qualifications 🎓

PhD students, early-career academics, and young professionals in development studies or democracy studies.
Hold a PhD or master’s degree from a recognized university within the last three years.
Representing all major world regions will be prioritized.
